Lariosauro

Lariosauro in the water,

By lake como,

And all the rich kids,

Pass him by in their boats.

Never wondering why,

He doesn’t come up to see them.

Yet, lariosauro doesn’t cry,

He swims up to the boats they ride in,

And nudges the boat ever so gently,

Hoping for a realization from someone that he’s there.

Lariosauro cries in the lake.

Is it a mistake?

That no one can find this giant water serpent in the lake?

Lauriosauro feels foolish,

He hopes for the day someone will find him.

So he will not be alone in Lake Como.

Lariosauro in acqua,

Sul lago di Como.

Tutti i bambini ricchi,

Lo passano nelle loro barche.

Non chiedendosi mai perché,

Non viene a vederli.

Tuttavia, Lariosauro non piange,

Nuota fino alle barche su cui viaggiano.

Si urta la barca con delicatezza 

Spera che qualcuno lo veda.

Lauriosauro piange nel lago.

È un errore?

Che nessuno può trovare questo gigantesco serpente d’acqua nel lago?

Lauriosauro si sente sciocco,

Spera per il giorno in cui qualcuno lo troverà.

Quindi non sarà solo sul Lago di Como.
